MoHo Sno Shak

Tropical Sno was a traditional summer treat for my brother and I, when we were little, and it was so exciting to take a trip to Boise because we knew that we were going to stop at one of the classic blue and white Shaks for a treat! I’ve been so happy as an adult, to work with my mother to not only bring this fun childhood memory to my hometown to create Tropical Sno memories for our town’s kids, but also to help provide our local ambitious teens with another opportunity for a first time or part time job experience. First time job opportunities are often hard to come by in small towns and was something I struggled to obtain when I was going to jr high here. Our kids are nailing it! We are so proud of their hard work and the way they have handled the non stop busy days like pros! Shaving ice isn’t fast or easy. It takes skill to learn to temper the ice correctly and make the shave both fine yet firm.
